CITY OF CORINTH WINS FOUR STATE AND NATIONAL COMMUNICATION AWARDS

CORINTH, TEXAS, November 28, 2024 – The City of Corinth’s Communications and Marketing Department has been recognized with four prestigious awards from both statewide and national organizations in 2024. This continued success highlights the department's commitment to excellence, with honors from the International Festivals & Events Association (IFEA), the City-County Communications & Marketing Association (3CMA), and the Texas Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors (TATOA). Here’s a look at the awards received:

International Festivals & Events Association (IFEA) / Haas & Wilkerson Pinnacle Awards

The IFEA Pinnacle Awards celebrate the best in festivals and events from across the globe. The competition includes entries from countries such as Canada, Australia, South Korea, and beyond. The awards honor creativity and excellence in over 60 categories. The team received the Gold Award for Best Printed Materials (Single Page), Budget Under $100,000 for the Pawtoberfest marketing campaign.

City-County Communications & Marketing Association (3CMA)

The Savvy Awards competition recognizes outstanding local government achievements in communications, public-sector marketing and citizen-government relationships. This year, over 1,100 entries were submitted, making this an incredible achievement. The team earned 3rd place: Special Event: Best One-Time Special Event for Corinth Unleashed The Bark Park Grand Opening.

Texas Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors (TATOA)

The TATOA Government Programming Awards highlight excellence in government video programming across Texas. With more than 500 entries this year, the multi-media team received Third Place: Programming Awards (Budget Below $300k) for the State of the City 2024 video and Honorable Mention: Interview/Podcast for Let’s Talk Corinth: Drainage.

These awards are a testament to the creativity, innovation, and commitment of the City of Corinth’s Communications and Marketing Department.
