History of Corinth

The City of Corinth, which was incorporated September 19, 1960, is located in the north central portion of Texas. This area of the state has proven to be one of the top growth areas in Texas and the United States. The City currently occupies a land area of 8 square miles and serves a growing population of approximately 20,000. Corinth has operated under the council-manager form of government since May 6, 1999.
