Agora Artist Application
The City of Corinth is seeking artists to create murals on bench seating in the new community park, The Commons at Agora. The Commons at Agora will be an iconic gathering space that serves as a central hub for community activities, events, and festivals that will enhance Corinth’s quality of life and Agora’s reputation as a vibrant downtown district.
How to Apply
Applicants must be at least 18 years old and live in Corinth, or in the Lake Cities area. Minors over the age of 13 years old can also submit an application with parental approval. A committee will choose the artist using the following criteria: Creativity of design, artistic excellence, prior experience with outdoor murals, and how imaginatively the theme is communicated. The application can be submitted online, by mail, or hand delivered.

About Canvus
The benches were generously donated by Canvus, a manufacturer of products made from retired wind turbine blades. For years, Canvus has been working with the renewable energy industry to find a long-term, scalable solution to these recycled wind turbine blades. Each blade can be reimagined into 45-50 products, extending their lifespan by 20-40 years. Canvus’ mission is to inspire communities around “sustainability in motion” by uniting retired materials to create exceptional products.
