Notice of Public Hearing on Budget

Corinth, TX, September 5, 2019 - The City Council for the City of Corinth, Texas, will hold a public hearing on the Fiscal Year 2019-20 Annual Program of Services (Budget), on Thursday September 5, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at City Hall, located at 3300 Corinth Parkway, Corinth, Texas. The meeting will be held for the purpose of receiving community input on the Budget.

THIS BUDGET WILL RAISE MORE TOTAL PROPERTY TAXES THAN LAST YEAR’S BUDGET BY $1,507,494   OR 13.17% AND OF THAT AMOUNT $341,117 IS TAX REVENUE TO BE RAISED FROM NEW PROPERTY ADDED TO THE TAX ROLL THIS YEAR.
