DENTON COUNTY ISSUES OUTDOOR BURN BAN

DENTON, TX, July 13, 2022 – Denton County Judge Andy Eads has signed an executive order putting Denton County under a county-wide burn ban effective TODAY, July 13, 2022, due to the public safety hazard posed by wildfires during the current drought and severe weather conditions.

The county-wide burn ban will prohibit all outdoor burning, including restrictions on outdoor cooking, open and enclosed hotwork, and the use of certain combustible materials.
