CORINTH PARTNERS WITH TEXAS SOLAR SWITCH
CORINTH, TX, June 6, 2022- The City of Corinth has officially partnered with Texas Solar Switch, a new group-buying program offering Texans a hassle-free way to install rooftop solar PV panels. By coming together as a group, residents of the Dallas-Fort Worth area can secure a discounted price on the installation of a complete solar PV package.
Texas Solar Switch recently secured a price to install solar panels 14% below the market rate. This discount equates to a saving of around $4,000 on a 10.3 kW system.
Now is a particularly great time to go solar, as the 26% federal tax credit for solar is supposed to lower at the end of this year. So going solar in the next couple of months will ensure homeowners save the maximum amount, while those savings will likely decrease next year.

Registering is free, and it does not obligate homeowners to purchase solar. Instead, people will have the option to individually purchase a solar panel array based on the winning installer's competitive group rate.
The City of Corinth joins the cities of Fate and Farmers Branch, which have also approved partnerships with Texas Solar Switch to help make solar PV more accessible to their residents. There is no cost or financial benefit to the cities to help make their residents aware that this program is available.
Texas Solar Switch is also partnered with Solar United Neighbors, a non-profit organization dedicated to solar education, advocacy, and consumer protection.
