CORINTH COVID-19 READINESS RESPONSE PLAN
Corinth, TX, March 24, 2020 - In response to COVID-19 concerns, the City of Corinth is taking additional steps to ensure the health of our community and the continuity of City services.
City Management has developed a Readiness Response Plan to assist in monitoring and communicating our actions during this unprecedented situation. The City of Corinth is taking appropriate measures to protect our community and employees by limiting person to person exposure. As the spread of the virus becomes more widespread, city management will adapt our service levels and modify staff schedules to ensure we are able to respond to community needs.

LEVEL GREEN
Normal Operations: No outbreak concerns.
- Normal operations for all city facilities.
- No restrictions on gatherings
LEVEL YELLOW
Limited Confirmed COVID-19
- City facilities open while limiting person-to person exposure.
- Where feasible, we encourage members of the public to conduct business with city staff online and through phone calls and emails rather than in person.
- Community rentals of City Facilities suspended.
- Large public meetings, gatherings and events will be suspended or canceled based on Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as well as Governmental Declarations.
- All City sports facilities will remain open for use by the public and local sports leagues. The sports leagues may make their own determinations on continuing games and Practices.
LEVEL ORANGE
Broad Confirmed COVID-19
- City facilities open with modified staffing schedules.
- Service levels will be transitioning to on-line, phone calls and emails. In person services will be limited.
- Small public meetings, gatherings and events will be suspended or canceled based on Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as well as Governmental Declarations.
- All public places of business are encouraged to adhere to recommendations made by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as well as Governmental Declarations limiting person-to-person exposure.
- All City sports facilities will be closed for use by the public and local sports leagues.
LEVEL RED
Widespread Confirmed COVID-19
- City facilities closed except for essential personnel
- Members of the public are to conduct business with city staff online and through phone calls and emails.
- All public places of business are required to adhere to recommendations made by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as well as Governmental Declarations eliminating person-to-person exposure.
- City Council and Boards will move to teleconferencing meetings consistent with the Open Meetings Act.
During this time, the City encourages the use of resources available on the City’s website. Online services include certain permits, business license applications, payment of water bills and court fines. Please find all of these online services on our virtual city hall website.
