CORINTH WATER SERVICES UPDATE
CORINTH, TX, February 15, 2021-The City of Corinth has partnered with Lake Cities Municipal Utility Authority (LCMUA) and the Town of Hickory Creek to restore water services in Corinth. The two utilities are working on connecting their systems through fire hydrants along Parkridge. This is possible, since LCMUA and the City of Corinth are both supplied water from Upper Trinity Regional Water District. Since the water is being supplied from the same source, no additional treatment or precautions are needed by our residents. At this time, we are striving to restore water by 7pm.
There will be temporary rerouting of traffic along Parkridge and Turbeville Rd. in Hickory Creek.
We are asking Corinth residents to curtail water usage once restored. This connection with LCMUA is a temporary fix and residents must reduce usage to ensure there is plenty of drinking water until electrical power is restored by Oncor.
