CORINTH 2020 WATER QUALITY REPORT

CORINTH, TX, May 27, 2021 – The Corinth Public Works Department has published the 2020 Annual Drinking Water Quality Report. The report provides a snapshot of the status of the City’s drinking water system. This report is published annually as part of the City’s overall commitment to transparency and exemplary service.     

The Annual Drinking Water Report provides vital information about the water system, water source, and contamination levels in finished water. It also informs the public about any violations of national drinking water regulations and any variances or exemptions applicable to the local water system.

Corinth customers can rest assured that their water is safe, clean, and reliable based on the report’s findings. In 2020, the Corinth Utility Department earned two awards from the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality; Outstanding Cross-Connection Control Recognition and Proactive Water System Award. Additionally, in 2019 the City was awarded the Outstanding Public Drinking Water Safety Award by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.
