Program Eligibility and Guidelines

  • Eligibility is limited to residential homes only; commercial properties are not eligible.
  • Applicant must currently own a home built in 2006 or earlier and have a City of Corinth water utility account in good standing for the property where the toilet(s) were installed.  
  • Applicant is responsible for purchase, installation, and disposal.
  • Applications must be completed and received by the City of Corinth within 90 days of completing installation and must have itemized sales receipts.
  • Only new, WaterSense labeled high efficiency (1.28 gallons per flush or less) toilets are eligible for a rebate. The list of WaterSense labeled high efficiency toilets is available on the EPA WaterSense website.
  • Approved rebates shall be mailed in the form of a check. 
  • Applications are processed in the order that they are received on a first-come, first-served basis, and can take up to 30 days to process.
  • If required documentation has not been provided, rebate will be denied.
  • The City of Corinth reserves the right to terminate or modify the water conservation rebate/incentive program at any time
     
  • The City of Corinth will issue a check in the following amounts if rebate is approved:
  • $100 for the 1st high efficiency toilet
  • $75 for the 2nd high efficiency toilet
  • $50 for the 3rd high efficiency toilet

If a licensed plumber installed your toilet, provide the following information:
Copy of original invoice or sales receipt showing date and place of sale, date of installation if performed by a licensed plumber, a description of the purchase, and the cost of the item and labor. If self-installed, a copy of the original proof of purchase with bar code.

Program Agreement & Applicant Certification *
I understand an inspector of the City will verify the installation of my new toilet. I understand the City does not endorse specific brands, products, or dealers; nor guarantee materials, workmanship, performance, or durability of the qualifying items. I understand I may receive reimbursements not to exceed the amount outlined in the program guidelines. I understand that the City will process my rebate in the form of a check. I understand that an incomplete application will result in a rebate delay. I acknowledge that the City is in no way responsible for the condition of the plumbing on my side of the meter, now or in the future.
