Parks and Trails Plan Promotional Picture

Corinth, TX, December 31, 2019 - The City of Corinth invites residents to provide input on the City’s Master Parks and Trails Plan through the survey now available at MyCorinth.com. This plan will state the community's desired vision for the design and construction of future parks, trails and open spaces within the City as well as for the use and maintenance of the existing park and trail system. Direct community input is vital to ensuring that the final Master Parks and Trails Plan is reflective of the values, interests and desires of the many individuals and families that choose to call Corinth home. Your participation is both welcomed and appreciated.

The City of Corinth is collaborating with Kimley Horn, one of the nation's premier planning and design consultants, to prepare a new Comprehensive Plan and Parks and Trails Master Plan. The current plan was adopted in 2010 and is due to be replaced. The Comprehensive Plan Advisory Committee (CPAC), a group made up of local residents, business owners and community leaders, is steering this process and invites public input throughout the process.

The survey will be opened for your input from now until January 24 and the new edition of the Parks and Trails Master Plan is scheduled to be presented to City Council in April of 2020. Stay up to date with upcoming meetings on the City's Master Parks and Trails Plan and the Comprehensive Plan by visiting MyCorinth.com regularly.
