CORINTH, TX, October 1, 2024 – The City of Corinth will host the General Election on Tuesday, November 5 at Corinth City Hall, 3300 Corinth Parkway. Registered voters will have the opportunity to cast their ballots on important local, state, and federal matters. Please take note of these important dates related to the upcoming election.

  • Last Day to Register to Vote – Monday, October 7
  • Last Day to Apply for Ballot by Mail – Friday, October 25
  • Last day to Receive Ballot by Mail – Tuesday, November 5

Early Voting Schedule

To ensure accessibility and convenience, early voting will be available for Denton County residents at any Denton County voting location. For a full list of early voting locations visit VoteDenton.gov. The early voting schedule at Corinth City Hall are as follows.

  • Monday, October 21 – Saturday, October 26: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Sunday, October 27: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Monday, October 28 – Friday, November 1: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Election Day Voting

Election day is Tuesday, November 5, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Voting will be determined by precinct. Voter information, including precinct numbers, and a sample ballot can be found at VoteDenton.gov.

  • Lake Sharon Community Church, 2650 Oakmont Drive, Corinth, TX 76210 (Precinct 3160)

Voter Registration Eligibility

To check your eligibility to vote, please visit the Denton County Voter Eligibility page. Simply enter your full name, birthdate, zip code, and the county you reside in to verify your status. All voters are encouraged to verify their registration status and polling locations prior to Election Day.

Required Forms of Identification Needed to Vote

Voters must present one of the acceptable forms of photo ID as required by State law. These include the following: 

1. Texas Driver License issued by the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS)

2. Texas Personal Identification Card issued by DPS

3. Texas Election Identification Certificate issued by DPS

4. Texas Handgun License issued by DPS

5. United States Military Identification Card containing the person's photograph

6. United States Citizenship Certificate containing the person's photograph

7. United States Passport

If you cannot present one of the acceptable forms of identification, you may submit a supporting form of ID and complete a "Reasonable Impediment Declaration." For more information on Voter ID requirements, review the requirements provided by the Texas Secretary of State.
