CORINTH LAUNCHES ONLINE STRATEGIC PLAN

Corinth, TX, March 10, 2020 - The City of Corinth has partnered with Envisio to provide up-to-date reporting on the status of the city's strategic and operational plans in a convenient online platform.

In 2019, Corinth adopted the strategic plan, Embracing the Future, to provide a vision for the city through 2030.  The plan addresses the future trends and existing constraints that the City will need to manage, as well as the assets and opportunities that can help achieve the vision.  The City focused on three key strategies: Land Development, Infrastructure Development and Economic Development and identified three high importance goals for Corinth:

Goal 1: Attracting quality residential and non-residential development,
Goal 2: Citizen engagement and proactive government
Goal 3: Regional Cooperation

"While all identified strategies and actions are important to implement for the city to achieve its vision, it is just as important to provide a platform to enhance our transparency efforts and engagement with our residents," stated City Manager Bob Hart. "Through this new platform our goal is to grow informed participation through consistent and timely updates on our progress in implementing the strategic plan."
