LAKE CITIES FIRE DEPARTMENT TO HOST ANNUAL FIRE OPEN HOUSE

CORINTH, TX, September 24, 2024 – The Lake Cities Fire Department is excited to announce their annual Fire Open House on Saturday, October 26 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Fire House 3 located at 3750 Cliff Oaks Drive.

During this event, the fire department will proudly unveil its newest addition to the department, a tiller fire truck. The ceremonial wash down of the tiller truck will begin at 9 a.m. The tiller truck, also referred to as a tiller ladder truck, is a specialized type of fire apparatus designed for improved maneuverability and access in confined spaces. Its unique design and capabilities make it a valuable asset for the fire department, enhancing its effectiveness in protecting lives and property.

“We are thrilled to unveil the latest addition to our fleet, the tiller fire truck at our annual open house,” said Fire Chief Chad Thiessen. “This addition not only enhances our capabilities but also emphasizes our commitment to protecting the safety and well-being of our community.”
